Interests can be any thing that you are interested in. The list of Interests is organized in a hierarchy where each Interest can have one parent interest and many child interests or sub-interests. The Interest name must be unique throughout the system. This view shows you all Interests in the system, sorted by rank in descending order. The rank for each interest is calculated periodically by the system based upon the number of Followers, the amount and quality of content, and the number of references.
